MINGIONE-Thomas, age 34 of West Islip, Long Island, A proud member of Ladder 132, Prospect Heights, NY. He died tragically and heroically on Spetember 11, 2001 in the line of duty at the World Trade Center Disaster. Beloved husband and best friend of Jennifer Mingione. Proud father of Amanda Mingione. Cherished son of Gerald and Anne Mingione. Loving brother of Frank Mingione, Robert Mingione and Richard Mingione. Fond nephew of Rose Mingione, Mary Sineni, Gaspare Mistretta and Anthony Mistretta. Special uncle of Kevin, Lisa, Karyn, Gina, Richard and Victoria Mingione. Adored by many cousins, numerous other relatives and by countless good friends. Memorial Mass of the Resurrection was held on Friday, June 14, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in West Islip, Long Island. In lieu of flowers, Thomas's family has requested that donations be made to the Disaster Relief Fund, Engine 280 Ladder 132, 489 St. John's Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238. The family was cared for by the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home. Tommy, we love and miss you more than words can describe. You are in our thoughts every minute of every day. Until we are together again.
